“W-well, they sa-said you get-get in a l-lot of t-trouble… Y-you have two-two brothers… a-and other-other c-crazy things… I-I think t-they’re l-lying th-though…”
Alia rocked on her heels slightly, clasping her hands together behind her back. She felt like she was doing…
“Th-they said you-you were a-a wizard… K-kinda r-ridiculous t-though, h-huh?”
“N-not all the-the time, but mo-most of t-the time… I’m-I’m sorry…”
“Y-yeah…” Mentally smacking herself for stuttering, she cleared her throat and straightened up, fluffing her hair. “I mean, yeah. Ridiculous. Wizards don’t exist. Your cats have problems — no offence. Told ya cats and I don’t really get on. They make up lies about me. And don’t worry about it. I’m just not used to it and it’s kinda weird. No big deal.”
“W-well, they sa-said you get-get in a l-lot of t-trouble… Y-you have two-two brothers… a-and other-other c-crazy things… I-I think t-they’re l-lying th-though…”
Alia rocked on her heels slightly, clasping her hands together behind her back. She felt like she was doing something wrong, but didn’t quite know what. Maybe it was just her imagination.
“Well, I guess they’re right about that.” Alex snorted, looking quite proud of herself for being known as a trouble-maker. Her nose wrinkled slightly at the mention of her brothers, and her interest was sparked when Alia mentioned “other crazy things”. “Yes… They probably are lying… What ‘crazy things’ are we talking about, just out of curiosity?” She asked slowly.
“And do you always talk like that? Stuttering like that? S’kinda hard to understand you.”
Why did Tigger stick his head in the toilet?
Raising an eyebrow at the girl, Alex grinned crookedly and took her hand in hers to give it a gentle shake. “Hiya. I’m Alex, who are you? And why do you look so… I’unno, scared?” She paused, then chuckled. “I don’t bite, no matter what you heard about me. If you heard anything about me. If you haven’t, then forget what I just said.”
“Ah, I’m s-sorry. I’m-I’m A-Alia.”
Alia looked of to the side, never use to making new friends.
“I-I’ve heard a-a lit-little bit a-about you… b-but the ca-cats don’t t-tell me-me much…”
“What’re you apologizing for?” Alex shook her head, then let go of her hand and followed Alia’s gaze. “The cats? You talk to… Cats?” It wasn’t the weirdest thing in the world, but she could barely understand her with the amount of stuttering. “So, what did the cats tell you? They’re probably lying. I’m not a cat person.”
Alia nearly jumped at Alex’s enthusiasm.
“U-uh, hello…”
she timidly held out a hand to shake.

*snorts* With my luck, you just might.
*hesitates when she mentions the glasses* See, that’s part of the weird things that have been going on. I’ve been trying to hide my eye from people, but I guess since you’re used to odd things, there shouldn’t be any harm…
*removes them, brushing a stray bit of hair from his eyes; his left eye is a normal, chocolate brown, but his right is a deep sea-blue color with light shimmers and dark spots that move as if his iris is an actual pool of water*
I’m pretty sure your eyes aren’t going to freak me out. I’ve seen crazier things. -She waits patiently for him to remove his sunglasses, narrowing her eyes and leaning a bit closer to get a better look at the one that seems to be shimmering;

That’s really cool! Why’re you hiding it? If I had an eye like that, I’d be showing it off. So, what happened to it, huh? Does it do anything special, or does it just look cool?
